The PLUNGE

Plunge Pools are designed with a compact footprint while maintaining a 48″-60″ depth -ideal for standing, swimming, and ‘plunging’. There is no “shallow end” or diving depth. Because of the size, plunge pools are more economical to heat than full-sized traditional pools, extending the open season for projects in cold-weather climates. Our rectangular models can be fitted with a manual or automatic cover to maximize energy efficiency while minimizing water evaporation, chemical consumption and overall maintenance.

Precast concrete technology combines the durability of concrete with the efficiency of offsite fabrication, resulting in an extremely strong, highly engineered pool that can be installed as a traditional in-ground pool, while being ideal for above ground and partially above-ground designs. This makes precast concrete pools ideal for projects with streamlined budgets, short timelines, and sites with unique topography that may be difficult/expensive to build on. Even better, our plunge pools are monolithic, meaning they are engineered to be manufactured in a single integrated casting, so cold joints (potential leak-points) are virtually eliminated. The concrete pool shell, complete with standard interior finish, light, skimmer, and preinstalled plumbing fittings can ship as quickly as 4 weeks from order date. Customizations extend lead time and budget.

Additional construction costs include permitting, freight, crane and sitework. Other variables are pool equipment and extra features like luxury tile interior, pool covers and pool fitness equipment.

Pool installations require permits and licensed subcontractors to properly complete the work. It is not recommended to take on a pool install as a DIY project. We are happy to connect customers to our regional builder partners.

Your municipality may require safety fencing, safety lock/alarms on points of entry from house, a fenced yard, or other safety measures. These measures are for your protection and for the safety of anyone who may enter the pool area. Depending on your city requirements, some types of pool covers may qualify as safety barriers while protecting your new pool, thus eliminating the need for fencing. Your builder will be able to help you understand the required and safest approach.
